These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the Nessie Pets website and to every order you place with us. By using the site or placing an order, you accept these terms.
Who can order
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to place an order. We sell and ship only to addresses located in the United States.
Products, descriptions and availability
Product information, images, prices and availability come directly from our Shopify catalog and can change at any time. We do our best to describe products accurately, but colors on screen and minor supplier variations may differ slightly from the item you receive. If a product becomes unavailable after you order it, we will contact you and offer a replacement or a refund.
Prices and payment
All prices are shown in US dollars (USD) and include the amounts displayed at checkout. Any applicable taxes are calculated and shown in the Shopify checkout before payment.
Payments are processed securely through our Shopify checkout with the payment methods enabled for our store, currently Shop Pay, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, UnionPay and PayPal. Nessie Pets does not store your card details.
Orders and acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm your order by email. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if the item is unavailable, if there is a pricing error, or if we suspect fraud. In that case, any amount already paid is refunded.
Shipping, returns and refunds
Shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy, and returns, cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Return Policy. Both policies form part of these terms.
Use of the website
You agree not to misuse the website, attempt to gain unauthorized access, copy or scrape its content, or use it for any unlawful purpose. The Nessie Pets name, logo, texts, images and design are protected and may not be used without our written permission.
Product use and pet safety
Our products are accessories and supplies for animals and must be used as intended and under supervision. Content on this website, including blog articles and the Nessie Assistant chat, is general information only and does not replace veterinary advice. For symptoms, illness, injury or emergencies, contact a veterinarian.
Accounts and communications
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for the activity in your account. We may send you service emails related to your orders. Marketing emails are only sent if you subscribed, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
